and of the fatness of the earth,

Surely, one of the greatest gifts that God bestows on mortals is the ability to make things of beauty from raw materials. This beautiful neck-wear from Vietnam is among the most treasured of my “souvenirs.”
So now send me an artisan skilled to work in gold, silver, bronze, and iron, and in purple, crimson, and blue fabrics, trained also in engraving, to join the skilled workers who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom my father David provided.
Today’s errand was a rather mundane trip to PetSmart to get the all-important Greenies for Mia’s and Mikey’s bedtime treat.
God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature
So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea,
the birds in the air, the cattle,
And, yes, Earth itself,
and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.”
God created human beings;
he created them godlike,
Reflecting God’s nature.
He created them male and female.
God blessed them:
“Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!
Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air,
for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”
